I am trying to set a up mail server on a ubuntu edgy machine. I followed the howto at <a href="http://wanderingbarque.com/howtos/mailserver/mailserver.html">http://wanderingbarque.com/howtos/mailserver/mailserver.html</a> .
<br>I am able to configure everything except dovecot-ldap authentication :(. After struggling with it for a week I decided to seek help.<br><br>The current version of dovecot is v1.0 RC21 and the version used for the howto is&nbsp; 
v0.99.10.9. I installed &amp; tried to configure both versions but none of them was able to authenticate a user from ldap. I noted&nbsp; some&nbsp; differences in syntax of the dovecot.conf files of&nbsp; both the versions. It seems that the ldap documentation at dovecot site is from the old version of dovecot ( I might be wrong on this!). So if anyone can tell me how to configure the current version of dovecot with openldap?
