Most of us are using it in production. Don't care about the version number.

It's been stable for me for over a year. I also notice that the bug
complaints in RC26 are almost gone and I think it's getting really
close to the 1.0 release. Timo is far more conservative than most open
source programmers. Most projects would have been up to version 3 by
now with this code. :)<br>
