[Dovecot] Outlook 2002 sp-2 and initial connection after OS reboot

Does it even try to connect to server? You could check with tcpdump or 
something similiar.

Is there anything in Dovecot's log files? What about after enabling 
auth_verbose = yes?

Do you use SSL? Does it work without?
