Good point!!!!

No clue!!  I don't remember doing this with cyrus-imap.

But, if it is mozilla then it's obviously not your (dovecot) problem.  I 
think it's actually a bonus that dovecot-mozilla recovers from this much 
better than courier-mozilla.

I suppose I could try it with pine or kmail?
