[Dovecot] test53 and signal 11 errors

I installed test53 tonight, and I've begun to see the following error 
in my maillog every time I attempt to retrieve mail from an imap 
client:

dovecot: child 46128 (imap) killed with signal 11

I built from source on FreeBSD 4.9 with the following:

./configure --with-mysql --with-storages=maildir --with-ssl=openssl

A little bit of Googling seems to indicate that this is a hardware 
issue(http://www.bitwizard.nl/sig11/), but I've not had this error 
under any other circumstances.

What other information would be helpful to sort this out?
