[Dovecot] Why is "UIDVALIDITY changed" fatal?

Hmm, now I'm seeing problems with flag updates. It seems dovecot isn't
always adding X-Status and X-UID headers (or updating the latter) when a
message is read - I seem to have a mixture of "Status: O" or both
headers missing. Is this because of mbox_dirty_syncs?
It didn't used to happen before today's fixes (but did happen before the
very latest ones) Symptoms are Thunderbird (or Pine) think they've
updated the flags, but when the folder is reopened, it reverts. I've
tried deleting the dovecot.index* files.
Best Wishes,
Chris
