[Dovecot] Question on moving folders

Is there a way to move an imap subfolder up one level?  I have a bad 
mouse and every now and then I have accidentally dragged an imap folder 
on top of another folder.  I am unable to get the original folder back 
up one level.  I've tried using several clients and I can't get it to 
work with dovecot.  I keep getting a "folder already exists" message.  
I'm guessing dovecot still sees the original folder before it was 
moved.  Any tips... besides getting a new mouse?
