[Dovecot] Misbehavior with Dovecot and Mulberry

As you've no doubt seen from my second mail, it didn't really fix the
problem in all cases.

None of these are defined (the server is running AIX 5).

If you have any ideas, I'm more than happy to turn on debugging
in Mulberry again.
