[Dovecot] OE pop3 > imap subfolder migration?

Wait.. are they local folders, or POP3 folders?  When I was migrating from local 
folders to IMAP, it was just a matter of drag-and-drop.  And I find it difficult 
to believe that this can not be done with newer versions of Dovecot and OutLoo.
