[Dovecot] dovecot LDA and pop3 session lock question

If pop3_lock_session = yes, how does Dovecot LDA handle the situation 
when the pop3 mbox is locked?

Does it requeue mail for later delivery immediately (EX_TEMPFAIL), or 
wait until mbox_lock_timeout?
