[Dovecot] can't receive mail from other hosts

This isn't a dovecot issue then.  You need to take this up with the postfix
people, but before you do, make sure that your Postfix instance is actually
listening to a public IP address:

	inet_interfaces = your.public.ip.address, 127.0.0.1 ::1

Under a default installation, only the 127.0.0.1 is enabled.
