[Dovecot] Unable to Login to Dovecot.

I am unable to login to dovecot . I have edited dovecot.conf as per the Basic 
Configuration.txt in the wiki.I am using Suse 10.2 on I586 and OS is  Linux 
2.6.18.2-34-default i686.
Any help will be appreciated.
