[Dovecot] Dovecot truncating Inboxes?

So SAM-FS is some shared filesystem and you have multiple servers
accessing mails from there?

But did you check that all programs writing to mailboxes use the same
locking? Most importantly procmail vs. dovecot might not use the exact
