Do you use Dovecot SASL in Postfix to authentificate the users? Do you use 
Dovecot deliver to drop the mail? Does the recipients are local or remote 
users?  What does postfix says in its logs about the error? When the users 
login from internal hosts, do they connect to the same port as when they 
connect from outside the office? If not, what are Postfix' config 
differences?
