   Yup, I run across that with some frequency myself.  It's pretty  
annoying.  The basic assumption seems to be that /bin/sh is always bash.

   In the 1980s, the annoying assumption was "all the world's a  
VAX".  Now, it's "all the world's a PC running Linux".
