[Dovecot] imap-login: Disconnected

trying to login squirrelmail using dovecot-1.1.17 on a qmail-server with vpopmail setup
has also running your: courier-dovecot-migrate.pl --recursive --convert --overwrite
here are the output from dovecot-log:
