Right, that's why I'm also not using it.

Hmm. Does it support poll nowadays? For some reason I seem to be using
--with-ioloop=select.

Could you do:
gdb imap
x 0x9330
That might show something useful.

You need to create config.rpath. It seems to work fine even if it's an
empty file..
