Check the thread "Problem with dict-quota, deliver killed by delivery
attempt" from last tuesday (29 Sep) - and Timo's answer.

My dovecot 1.2.5 stopped crashing after applying this patch - which repairs
dovecot crashing when using quota other than Maildir++:
