[Dovecot] pigeonhole and utf-8 error

the result of a 'cat -A' of the filter file get me a representation of  
"atenciM-CM-32"
then I could suppose it's correctly encoded in UTF-8, it's right?
and if it is, I don't know why  dovecot lmtp gives me "mailbox name not 
utf-8" ...
