Do you have DSPAM compiled with debug turned on? Could you try once to run in a shell the following command:
/usr/local/bin/dspam --source=error --class=spam --signature=4be87a9f953248352114216 --client --user vmail --debug
Could you try to NOT use client mode? Aka:
/usr/local/bin/dspam --source=error --class=spam --signature=4be87a9f953248352114216 --user vmail --debug
What is the output of the above commands? What does system.log/debug.log from DSPAM say about your attempts to reclassify the message?
Can you post the output of "dspam --version"?
Can you post the output of: ls -lah /usr/local/bin/dspam
