On my Centos 5.x:

[root at gate ~]# rpm -qf /usr/libexec/dovecot/deliver
dovecot-2.0.15-1.0.cf.rhel5
[root at gate ~]# rpm -qf /usr/libexec/dovecot/dovecot-lda
dovecot-2.0.15-1.0.cf.rhel5
[root at gate ~]#

What dovecot do you have?
