That patch totally saved my ass.
I rolled it out today and the

Messages/cur/1331891533.M93099P19536.postamt.charite.de,S=1860:2,Scd
to /home/s/t/stoffelm/Maildir/.Deleted
Messages/cur/1331891533.M93099P19536.postamt.charite.de,S=1860:2,Scd

errors subsided. At the same time the users CAN access the affected
folder.
