You have enabled debugging still? No errors or something like that in the 
Dovecot logs?

Maybe your client wants to move mails to some other mailbox, e.g. "Deleted 
Messages", which does not exist and is not created automagically. Check 
such problem with RawLog http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Debugging/Rawlog There 
you see the IMAP commands and responses transferred.
