I can reproduce with mails with a random attachment > 128k. I'm using 
smtp-cli to test

dd if=/dev/random of=random1M bs=1M count=1
./smtp-cli-3.2 --server <serverlist>  --from <sender> --to <recipient> 
--subject Test --attach=random1M

I can send you a sample.
