As mentioned by Steffen, you could create your own/additionally .conf files.
You may also have a look at
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-2.2/file/tip/doc/example-config/conf.d/15-mailboxes.conf
It shows also an example for the 'sent' mailbox.
