Hi,
This is working out now. So to sum up the situation..
I am using an OS CentOS v8 with Dovecot v 2.3.8 and Sendmail v 8.15.2
Making an LMTP Server :
*on Sendmail ( /etc/mail/sendmail.mc )*
FEATURE(`local_lmtp',`[IPC]',`FILE /var/run/lmtp')
MAILER(`local')
MAILER(`smtp')
*On Dovecot*
service lmtp {
inet_listener lmtp {
port = 24
}
unix_listener /var/run/lmtp {
group = mail
mode = 0660
user = mail
}
}
protocol lmtp {
mail_fsync = optimized
mail_plugins = autocreate quota acl fts fts_solr zlib mail_log notify sieve
postmaster_address = it at intranet.office.itx
}
Ad that's it really... Hope this will help for the others in the future
