The downside of putting the password on the command line is that it will 
(briefly) be visible in the output of 'ps':

/usr/bin/doveconf -f service=doveadm -c /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf -m 
doveadm -e /usr/bin/doveadm pw -p asdf
