this might be caused by FULLDIRNAME=DbOx-mAiLs (as far fetched as it sounds). Would it be possible for you to try it out if it happens if you remove this setting?

I tried it luckily on a small server. Yes it seems to have to do with it, but it destroyed indexes on a active mailboy.

I have to setup a test server.
