Right. Also FAM itself uses thing called "dnotify" with Linux to notice
the new mails immediately. Dovecot uses this directly instead of
through FAM. Other operating systems have different mechanisms, Dovecot
doesn't support those yet though. Fallback is to just check the mailbox
every mailbox_idle_check_interval seconds (30 by default).
