[Dovecot] Doubt on adding support for new mailbox format

Hi!

I'm starting to read and play with dovecot since a month ago. But my mailboxes' format is hashdir, which has been implemented here by my team. Here:

I've noticed that

But I couldn't find that API. I've read the documentation so many times but have not found. Can you help me?
