[Dovecot] Dovecot will not start, error in stat(/var/run/dovecot)

Error: stat(/var/run/dovecot) failed: Invalid argument Fatal: Invalid configuration in /etc/dovecot.conf

Can someone please help me resolve this issue? I'm willing to pay if required to get this back up! I've been down since 11PM Saturday.
