[Dovecot] XMLRPC anyone?

Hi,

Is there any code around that lets Dovecot (2.x) aauthenticate via a XMLRPC server (which connects to a LDAP server) instead of going directly to a LDAP server? It could give much more flexibility. TIA Egbert Jan, NL
