Hi, Yes I use ssl/authentication(saslauthd).
Just found the problem. It was the mcafee's mail scanner(anti-virus) on my desktop who scans every messages. That was creating this very long delay. I just turned it off and everthing went automatically right
Are you using SSL? If so, I can confirm I am having the same problem, but I can't help you fix it.
