Just because you are trying to use a poorly (maybe inadequately is a better word) written application like openwebmail doesn't fault the OS.
This particular facet of the problem doesn't have anything to do with openwebmail. Do you know how to get core files to work for dovecot under CentOS 5.2? Because it's not working according to the dovecot instructions. If you happen to have any useful information, thank you.
