User1 was logged in for a few minutes, but it disconnected with
LOGOUT command so the connection wasn't really hanging.

These could be some hangs I suppose..
Anyway I'm not really sure what the problem is here. I don't see any
connection timeouts after login. If user1's 4 connections were
hanging, it probably had something to do with file locking. Stracing
and/or getting a rawlog from the hang would be helpful in showing
what exactly is happening.
