I want to setup a local imap server, and then import all my email from Mail.app and Gnus into it. Thus I can choose to read emails with any client. It's only a single user environment.
Could anyone instruct me if there is any tutorial for Dovecot MACOSX setting?
You should search the mailing list archives for messages from me back on October 20th and 21st 2004, I had similar questions (how to set up dovecot on OS X, but without the importing issue) and Timo helped me then.
