Hi!
I'm trying to setup a dovecot installation and at the same time i'm also moving from system to virtual users. In order for end-users to experience as little impact as possible, I'd like to add a default domainname to the login, if the login doesn't contain a full username.
For instance:
- User logging in as "user@mydomain.com" will get the mailbox for user@mydomain.com.
- User logging in as "user" will also get the mailbox for user@mydomain.com
Is there some way to do this, without using the pop3/imap proxy? I've searched the wiki and sample configuration file, but was only able to find entries about authentication rewrites so far, and I don't know if this could be done with auth_username_translation ?
Greetings,
Nils
