No, but I have several users using the same mailboxes concurrently.
I fixed the problem (at least I'v got no more error messages):
- move away from "virtual" users (give each its own UID and homedir)
- mmap_disable = yes
- lock_method = dotlock
- default_mail_env = mbox:~/mail/:INBOX=/var/mail/%u
