You don't, the client is attempting such a login for some reason. To
me it looks like a client configuration problem.
I've enabled the auth_debug_password option and i've seen that the sasl login look like "mnencia\0mnencia\0<password>". So no master login is done.
I've discovered also that with "mnencia@prato.linux.it\0mnencia@prato.linux.it\0<password>" all works ok.
