Excuse me, in fact it is fixed. I installed last cvs but my tests were possibly wrong. Thanks you very much. I also must say that I am delighted with many of the features of Dovecot, such as the possibility of having several auth and user information sources, independent of each other. It has helped a lot in debugging and testing.
A really cool and clever piece of software!
(In fact, we are still having problems with indexes and control files in NFS, but at least Dovecot has the option of using local files for that).
