With Postfix, I use mailbox_command = DOVECOT_LDA -n -e -m "${EXTENSION}" where DOVECOT_LDA is the path do dovecot's deliver. The -n switch prevents creation of the IMAP folder. See http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA
