In the past, I've done a Dovecot Backup with a Rsync cmd... every day

Today I need to get back these mailboxes.. and doesn't work out

1) first of all, I tried to make a simple copy... Now way . Couldn't access the INBOX  Do you think that it could work that way ?  I don't need to synchronized every minute. once a day is OK for me.

2) I did use the instruction  doveadm --import  -u user1 maildir:/home/user1/mail/ "" ALL  

It did start copying but apparently cannot got until the end... but noting visible onto Thunderbird...

I didn't do any synchro between 2 dovecot servers. I just need to make a copy some times to times and rsync seemed to be a good option. But now, How can I get back online ??? Thanks
