"/var/MailRoot" is the root path/folder for XMail. An smtp/pop3 server.
Should I go ahead and chmod the folder or should I try to find a more delicate solution to this ?
The question seems to be: What credentials uses XMail to access the Mails, is 501:502 correct?
You will need to allow Dovecot to cross /var/MailRoot :-)
