I don't know if this has been covered or not as I have been out of action most of the last few weeks getting married and stuff. My query / slight problem is when I re-install an IMAP client or change client all mails that have been read so far show an empty header with the date set back to 1970 but the mails are fully readable. New mails that weren't read in a previous client show fine. Could this be something do to with me using fcntl? I am using the latest test version with Maildir boxes. I haven't got any diagnostic data of this yet, I want to make sure this isn't a common problem first.
Are you still using test77? This change was in test78:
- Bugs in cache file header caching (you probably should delete all dovecot.index.cache files to be sure the bug won't haunt you in future)
Sounds like this is the problem.
Arse, cheers for that. Been behind on things after getting married middle of last month :)
