I'm struggling with some new problems after an update from the devel tree of Fedora. Have been using dovecot since FC1 test-something, and latest working was couple of updates after FC3t2 (2.91 + devel updates). Tried downgrading with no luck, and can't figure out what's wrong.
Downgrade your glibc to 2.3.3-60 or earlier. Last night's rawhide glibc-2.3.3-62 was a disaster, and it broke my dovecot in the same way. But not before I spent about 1/2 hour trying to get a gdb trace which I could never get........
Thanks for a quick and precise reply, that was it - I actually upgraded and not downgraded, though. I noticed the main feodra site (but not most mirrors yet) had the glibc-2.3.3-63 version out, which solved the problem.
