      Hi Magnus,
I had to install a second mailserver and  managed to get things to work
on that server and after that on the first server. I did a number things
different and didn't care  to isolate the cause.
I'll tell you the differences I made to get things to work. I now use
LDA cvs snapshot from 13 may and dovecot-1.0beta8 So try that
combination. I also made differences to dovecot.conf. Check you have
your sections right defined. I use all settings from the wiki LDA page.
I have config files attached as an example for you.
