Since upgrading from 2.0beta5 to beta6, I have seen a few pairs of log messages like the following:
Jun 13 15:57:17 sbh16 dovecot: imap-login: Maximum number of connections from user+IP exceeded (mail_max_userip_connections=30): user=<gpc>, method=PLAIN, rip=76.126.100.210, lip=72.52.113.35, mpid=0, TLS
Jun 13 15:57:17 sbh16 dovecot: master: Error: service(imap-login): child 16960 killed with signal 11 (core not dumped - add -D parameter to service executable
The "Maximum number of connections from user+IP exceeded" message is not new - this is an issue with the K9 mail client on an android phone
- but the killing of the child is new in beta 6. Is this intentional.
