i'd gather tss would like to know about issues. (it shouldn't be terribly surprising for a projects' beta release to at least be _tried_ with _other_ projects' beta releases ...)

That is usually a good idea, especially if you mention that you are
using non standard stuff so that folks who are not aware of that can
then get a better understanding of the issues. Or for the elucidation
of the folks that are following the list trying to decide what efforts
they will have to undertake to make the switch.
p.s. The folks at AT&T also recommend that "you" use the newer version
of gcc than the older-hacked-to-get-something-for-Tiger version of the
Apple Leopard version they (AT&T) are providing -- it is further down
the page where they provide links.
