Looking for Some Help with Dovecot Configuration for IMAP Access

Hi everyone,

I am having a bit of trouble setting up Dovecot for IMAP access. I’ve installed Dovecot and configured the main configuration file,, but I am not sure if I missed something important. Here’s what I have so far ::-

1. Dovecot Version: 2.3.11
2. OS: Ubuntu 20.04
3. Configuration Files:
   • /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
   • /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-ssl.conf
   • /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-auth.conf

I can connect to the server, but I’m having issues with mailbox access and authentication.

Does anyone have any tips or common pitfalls I should check: ?? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.....
