[Dovecot] APOP

I want to turn off POP3 and use POP3S in its place. So far, it's working well for Outlook and Thunderbird. But I'm running into problems with Agent: It supports APOP but not POP3S. Is there a way to have Dovecot support APOP authentication on a normal POP3 connection? I'm running 0.99.13 on Fedora Core 3.
